Peter Schireson: Founder and Chairman
Prior to founding Schireson Associates, Peter spent more than 20 years as a business and marketing executive. After working in the genesis of the technology revolution in leadership positions for Xerox and Visicorp in the early 80’s, Peter shifted his focus to consumer brands. He left the corporate world to found his own marketing and research consulting practice after serving as the Chief Operating Officer at SuperCuts. Peter has a PhD in Education from Harvard.

Kern Schireson: Co-Founder and CEO
Over the last 7 years Kern has led hundreds of strategic research projects for leading companies in Technology, Consumer Electronics, and Healthcare. Before co-founding Schireson Associates, Kern led the Product Marketing and Consulting teams for a major online research provider. Prior to focusing on Market Research, Kern was the a senior marketing executive in two venture-funded software startups and founded a successful non-profit to provide technical training and job placement. He started his career as a hands-on technologist specializing in enterprise network architecture and security. Kern has a degree in Philosophy from UCLA.

Nathan Hugenberger: Vice President of Analytic Services
Nathan joined Schireson Associates to lead the Quantitative practice after 4 years at Microsoft where he led the team charged with analyzing new business models for some of the company’s most successful products. Prior to Microsoft, Nathan worked in technology and consulting, leading large project teams on infrastructure implementations. Nathan has an MBA from the Wharton School of Business.

Roberto Lartigue: Partner & Qualitative Practice Manager
Prior to working with Schireson Association, Roberto was a Senior Analyst at Gartner Group where he assisted leading IT product and services providers with market and product strategy. More recently, he was a product manager at two technology start-ups where he managed the design and release of innovative research applications. Roberto studied International relations at Georgetown and Finance at the London School of Economics.

Oliver Zimmermann: Director of Analytic Services
Prior to joining Schireson Associates, Ollie worked for eight years in both client management and technical leadership roles at Monitor Group.  While at Monitor, Ollie specialized in creating tools and leveraging quantitative research insights to help clients improve marketing decision-making. Ollie has an advanced degree in MIS from Carnegie Mellon and an MBA from the University of Maryland.

Katie Czukas: Director of Qualitative Services
Prior to joining Schireson Associates, Katie managed Monitor Group’s center of excellence on research, where she led strategic research engagements for consumer products, technology and life science companies worldwide. In addition, Katie has held senior roles in product management, marketing, and sales engineering for a Marketing Analytics platform. Katie has a Masters in Economics from Northwestern University and an AB in Economics and Applied Mathematics from UC Berkeley.

Mike Fleming: Director of Strategic Projects
Prior to joining Schireson Associates, Mike Fleming was a Principal at Zyman Group where he was responsible for both qualitative and quantitative research as well as strategic consulting to drive decisions around new products, brands, and services for clients in the technology sector. Earlier in his career, Mike held senior roles in Product Management and Marketing at IBM and NCR. He started his career as a strategy consultant for Arthur Andersen. Mike has an undergraduate degree from Clemson and an MBA from the University of Florida.

Lori Mahl: Director of Field Operations:
Before joining Schireson Associates, Lori learned the research business hands-on, spending 5 years as the onsite operations manager for Schlesinger Associates in New York – the largest qualitative facility in the US. In addition to her responsibilities at Schireson Associates, Lori serves on the Board of Directors of the Southeast chapter of the Market Research Association.

Casey Berman: Senior Researcher
Long before joining Schireson Associates, Casey honed his rhetorical skills as a Public Defender in California. He left legal practice to pursue a career in technology. His most recent role was as the VP of Operations for a venture-funded collaboration company in San Francisco. Casey has a BA from UC Berkeley and a JD from Hastings.

Hans Wolff: Principal Analyst
Hans has more than 20 years of experience in research and statistics. Hans is guru for ANOVA, Regression, Discrete Choice, CHAID, TURF, and Conjoint. He has taught statistics classes for several MBA programs and has a Ph.D. in Educational Psychology from Loyola University of Chicago.

Stuart Drucker: Principal Analyst
Stuart has more than 20 years of experience in research and statistics. Stuart is particularly adept in segmentation, product/price optimization, Conjoint, and customer satisfaction/loyalty modeling methodologies. He holds a M.S. in Economics from Indiana University.
